Pop ARTernoons are our afterschool art and creativity sessions tailored at primary school aged kids ages 5 to 10.
What to expect:

lots of drawing and painting (we encourage free drawing and development of every child's own unique style)

a themed craft activity or creative exercise each week - expect anything from shaving foam to pasta making!

STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Maths)-style activities a few times a term
-
learning about artists throughout history

low toxic materials and crafting with recycling

a fun, nurturing environment where we embrace everybody as they are
We prioritise Process and Play (they put the two P's in PoP) over an overly precious or polished product and we apologise in advance for any experimental looking creations that your child returns home with!!!
2026 Pop ARTernoons
Time: All sessions start at 3.45pm and finish at 5.15pm.
School pickups: We offer a complimentary pick up from St Mary's and Manly Village Public School. We pick up at the school bell, and provide fruit and crackers for afternoon tea. St Mary's students may walk with us to Manly Village as part of our pick up route. Once we arrive at the library, the kids may spend some time interacting with library resources before the art session begins.

Casual sessions for non-term students:
With school pick up: $49.50 GST inclusive
Without school pick up: $44 GST inclusive
Extra sessions for term students:
With school pick up: $41.50 GST inclusive
Without school pick up: $38.50 GST inclusive
Interested in a trial session?
Please email us with your child's name, school, class, and preferred afternoon.
Trials and casuals are subject to space being available in our sessions.
Free trials are available but no school pick up is included.
Instead of a free trial, you may wish to book in a casual session with school pick up. Please see rates as listed above.
If you enrol for the term the cost of the trial would be absorbed into the term fees.
